Negotiations Update!
March 16, 2022
Bargaining Update 3/16/2022
Bargaining with the District occurred today from 8:30 to 3:05. We received a budget update. Final budget information will be determined after the May revise and State legislature adoption. There are possibly 9 teachers taking advantage of the retirement incentive. This will go to the Board next Tuesday 3/22.
Involuntary transfers were discussed and reviewed. We received a scatter gram with health care usage by employee only, employee +1 and family in order to determine actual budgetary impact. We talked about creating a base tie breaker form which includes the consideration for impact on the Districts Portrait of a Graduate.
We discussed the stipend criteria and determined that we will need to form a committee that will look at stipend pay based on the criteria agreed upon. We started the conversation with regards to salary and compensation. We gave our number to the District right before we ended the day and will continue the discussion on March 28th, our next meeting.
Thank You,
SGTA Negotiations Team

Hi SGTA GHS members,
Take a minute to double check that you have turned in a physician designation form to Cathy Miller at the DEC. I have attached the form you need to this email. Fill it out and email it to Cathy Miller. None of our members have reported feeling great about the workers comp doctors they send us to if you don't have that form on file. Just in case the email below ends up in your spam folder, I thought I'd forward it to you again. If you aren't receiving emails like the one below, let me know so we can check on what is happening before the vote for the MOU. Best, Kat |
