Teachers, Please send your orders now! There will be no time in the fall to purchase extra tickets. Please send the order form and check to Vicky Mireles at McKinley Elementary. She will also be working summer school at Washington Elementary and you can stop by and leave the check and order form in the main office. Summer Institute - July 31-August 4 The Summer Institute offers 11 different, concurrent programs which will prepare you to accomplish your leadership role in your local chapter and meet your professional development goals. Programs include:

SGTA has approved to send 10 teachers to the CTA Summer Institute at UCLA. All expenses paid, single room and meals! What an opportunity! It is a fun week of learning about CTA, the benefits our union has to offer its members, and much more! Please take a moment to click on the link below and read about the classes that are being offered. The days are filled with learning, the nights are lots of excitement and networking with teachers all across California. If you are interested please let me know. I will get you added to the approved list and you can register at: http://www.ctago.org./ Turn in all receipts to Vicky Mireles at McKinley Elementary and you will be reimbursed for the conference registration fee, hotel room and mileage.
