Recommended Motion:
Administration recommends approval of the September 3, 2019 Special Governing Board meeting agenda.

One (1) case: Resignation Agreement and General Release with Dr. John W. Pappalardo.

3.b. PUBLIC EMPLOYEE DISCIPLINE/DISMISSAL/RELEASE (Government Code §54957.1 (a)(3).)

4. RECONVENE TO OPEN SESSION at:7:42 PM
4.a. ANNOUNCEMENT OF ACTION TAKEN IN CLOSED SESSION
Announcements:
Resignation Agreement and General Release with Dr. John W. Pappalardo approved.
Resignation accepted as of September 4, 2019.
Under the terms of the agreement and exchange for release of claims, Dr. Pappalardo shall receive his base salary and doctoral stipend for the term of his contract of employment through June 30, 2020 for a total of $202,476.70 and health and welfare benefits he currently receives through June 2020 or until he secures other employment, whichever is sooner.
Action taken: Unanimously approved in roll call vote.
