We need members to step up and fill these empty positions:
- Politital Action Chairperson(s) - There will be a school board election in November. We need a couple teachers to reach out to the candiates and host a candidate forum interview panel so we can hear their platforms and decide who to endorse in November. (Dena is currently doing this job in addition to President, so please help.)
Become a member of our Equity team and help in one of the 3 areas below. Duties may include attending any CTA endorsed conference and share any key points learned with our teachers and our Rep Council meetings. The goal is to build an Equity Team that helps teach our members ways to promote social justice and ways to protect human rights.
- Human Rights Advocacy Coordinator
- Women's Advocacy Coordinator
- LGBTQ+ Advocacy Coordinator
