The negotiations team has met with district a total four times. We have discussed and agreed upon the following: language for evaluations, hours of work, job sharing, leaves of absence, and the 2020-21 calendar. We are currently in talks about association rights. We will be talking about class size, salary schedule and rules, and retiree medical benefits at our next meeting on Friday, June 1. Please wear your union shirt on this Friday!
We have accomplished quite a bit in our meetings so far. If we can agree upon the last articles, we may be finished and ready for a vote before school is out. If not, we will be back at the table at the beginning of the school year.
