We have notified LACOE to process the Retro checks. They should arrive to our District next week. We will complete one final review once the checks arrive. I will send you an email next week once the checks are ready for release. Thank you for communicating the updates to the teachers. Your communication has helped streamline the process. -Vanessa Eastland, SGUSD Accounting. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- December 13, 2017 From SG Accounting Dept: “We are currently in the process of reviewing the final retro calculations and if all goes well, we will notify LACOE to finalize the retro check. I will have more information by Friday and will provide another update.” -Vanessa Eastland, CPA --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- November 9, 2017 Listed below is an update from the accounting department: 1. 1% retro for 2016/17 – “ We have submitted the request for the retro payroll run to the County. The County will issue a retro file next week. We will then manually calculate the retro and send it back to the County for processing. Since this is a manual process, our goal is to process the 1% and 2% retro no later than Christmas break. I will keep you updated on the status if that changes. “ 2. 2% for this year Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov (?) – “2% will be for August, September, October and November.” 3. When does our 3% increase start? Check end of Nov? Dec? Etc. – “We have input the 3% base salary rate increase and requested the County to roll-forward the increase. If there are no issues, the 3% base salary increase should be on the November check. Note: We are updating the doctorate and library stipend, so these 2 stipends rate increases will be on the December paycheck.” -- Terr
