SEF is Celebrating a Special Group of SGUSD Super Stars ~ The Teachers!!

SEF has donated gift bags to SGTA that are currently being distributed to each site. Site admin will let teachers know when they can pick up with proper safety protocols in place. The gift bags be placed in teacher boxes.  Below is a message from SEF's Facebook page to their members expressing their support for us. Keep a look out for the info on pick up coming soon. Dear Friends of SEF, 

Please join me in thanking the amazing SGUSD teachers for all that they do. As we strive to provide support not only for the students and families of the SGUSD we would like to share in our excitement of support for our very own SGUSD Super Stars ~ the Teachers! We are grateful to the wonderful partnerships we have in support of our mission and the marvelous educators in our community!!

Each and every school day there are 264 amazing SGUSD teachers who are rising to the challenge of bringing their curriculum online for their students. It is through their unique teaching styles, confidence and sense of responsibility they strive to make distance learning the best it can be. To each of these teachers, we appreciate your courage, patience, dedication, hard work, passion and commitment to teaching so much so that we are motivated and inspired to celebrate and support you and all that you do. Through a series of virtual classes designed for YOU in support of your mental health and wellness and a fun swag bag to kick off the new year we thank you for inspiring love of learning in your students. 
A great big thank you to all those who continue to do excellent work in caring for our community. It is through your efforts, support and partnership that we continue to make a positive impact in our community. Special thanks to our friends @ Johnny Was, Chef Bret Thompson, Owner of Pez Cantina, Schools First Credit Union, the San Gabriel Teachers Association, the entire SEF Board of Directors and the small but mighty group of dynamic volunteers who gathered, safely and at a distance, to assemble teacher swag bags for every teacher on all 8 school sites and the TOSA’s at the District Education Center! You are what makes us strong!!
