Below are the highlights from the Emergency School Board Meeting that was held last Friday. It should be noted that the decison to close our school district was made by our school board members, with recommendations from district administration.
Many surrounding school districts have closed their schools, yet are requiring teachers and staff to report to school on Monday morning, which is entirely against the public health recommendations.
So if you feel so moved to send an email expressing your gratitude to our school board members and adminstration, please do so at your earliest convenience. Kuddos to San Gabriel Unified for giving the utmost consideriation to the health and well being of all SGUSD staff and students.
Thank you,
Dena Dragoo
