The conference you've been waiting for!

Hello SGTA Members,

Are you interested in attending a CTA Sponsored Conference? If so, you are in luck!


Your Rep Council made an approval to allow members to attend the following conferences listed below.

SGTA will pay for your conference registration and mileage. (including hotel stay if further than 30 miles.) Meals are included.

In return, SGTA asks that you show a commitment to our Association by giving back to others.


If you choose to attend the New Educator Weekend or the Good Teaching Teacher Conference - South, SGTA asks that you give back to our association by sharing what you have learned with members at your school site.

If you choose to attend the Issues or Equity and Human Rights Conference, SGTA asks that you give back to our association by participating on our SGTA Equity Team.

How is this great opportunity funded?
Conference Registration, and Mileage will be paid by your favorite San Gabriel Teachers Association!

Hotel reimbursement if 30 miles away or more.

Meals will be provided by CTA
If Interested, please fill out this Google Form.
Once your request to attend is received, you will be notified by your SGTA Site Rep if there are enough spaces available for you to attend.

Teachers are responsible for arranging for their own subs and registering for the conference. Send in conference and hotel registration to Vicki Perales at Mckinley Elementary School.
